Works EXCELLENT! for TV & Video

Just received mine. It took a few days to decide between this and the almost twice as expensive SA740P. I could never find a significant difference between the two, so I took a chance. VERY GOOD! It has a glossy black finish that almost looks like a powder coating. Very durable construction. Attach it to a wood stud on the drywall using the included 2.5" wood screws. Drilled a 5/32 pilot hole as suggested and gosh those screws were still pretty tight! d will break so I made the holes a bit bigger. However, the screws are tight as hell and I'm not worried about them coming out unless I'm holding on to something I'm not planning to. An Insignia brand installed 22" LCD, and gosh it looks amazing! Finally managed to get the perfect viewing angle in bed. I set it up so that the center of the screen is at eye level when standing, which is the perfect height for viewing in bed. Of course if you were sitting in a spectator chair it would be a little high. Either way you can't go wrong with this. It's very durable and the finish is very nice. It doesn't look like it will would you be really careful as it is behind the tv and the tv is the only thing you see anyway 80lbs is almost 70lbs more than my screen weighs so I have no doubt it will stay in place becomes. It helped that many other reviewers put much larger screens on it and said they still find it extremely durable. I never thought I'd have the courage to hang a TV on the wall, but it's definitely made things easier for me. If you have a drill and stud finder handy, installation takes less than 15 minutes, including removing the stand from the box. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS for your mount size (VESA 100, 200, etc.) to make sure you're doing everything right. Also, my TV came with stands, otherwise the cables would be taut at the back. So if your TV came with them, it's not for nothing.

Pros
  • Compatible with VESA 75, 100, 200x100 and 200x200 mount configurations
Cons
  • Expensive
