Holds my Kindle10 perfectly, as does my phone and switch (if I place the controllers on the sides). Sometimes the latches closed a little aggressively, but that doesn't bother me because it's a sign of how secure the hold is. The charging ports don't work well with phones with thick cases and don't hold the Kindle well when it's in a silicone case, but having never dropped them I can easily use it with my devices outside of their cases.
