Holds a large tablet and easily switches from portrait to landscape mode. The metal ball that holds them in place is poorly made and will break if you try to tighten it! The plastic nut used to tighten the entire holder would snap within a week, as happened to me, and I had to wrap gorilla tape around it dozens of times to make it more usable. I also had to solder a metal ball to my arm as it was loose and when I tried to tighten it cut the metal threads! Everything in this device is garbage…

I was glad I got it as I often look at my iPad when I go to bed, but there were a few downsides. First, it's not as long as in the photo. The distance it comes out of the head of the bed is quite short so I can't extend it so I can sit on the bed and have it a decent distance from my face. Second, it's not that stable and one of the handles, which should be tight to stay in place, doesn't really work. Other handles also need to be very tight to hold them. Holds my Kindle10 perfectly, as does my phone and switch (if I place the controllers on the sides). Sometimes the latches closed a little aggressively, but that doesn't bother me because it's a sign of how secure the hold is. The charging ports don't work well with phones with thick cases and don't hold the Kindle well when it's in a silicone case, but having never dropped them I can easily use it with my devices outside of their cases.

This is the first tablet holder I've received that really holds my tablet without much hesitation. I wish the springs were a little tighter, but with a rubber band or two it holds up well. I have a 15.7 inch portable display in it and it fits great! It was easy to assemble and I started using it quickly. I highly recommend trying this product.

Interestingly, people who have had trouble with this use/assemble it incorrectly. Remove the case from your iPad and it should fit snugly. And make sure to install it correctly on your bed/table according to the instructions. It works great on my desk. Fits iPad Pro 10.5" and iPhone. It's well made. I've searched and haven't found anything better. In the photo it seems a little longer than it actually is, but the measurements are given in the description.

Parts look good and solid out of the box but unfortunately are much shorter than in the photo. But the argument is that leaving it hanging in the position shown in the photo is simply impossible. In fact, some parts won't flex at all and others won't flex no matter how hard you try to tighten the screws. Terrible instructions and I'm one of those people who have assembled many things from IKEA with no problems. The screws are either too tight or two are loose. The bottom one doesn't move at all
