Parts look good and solid out of the box but unfortunately are much shorter than in the photo. But the argument is that leaving it hanging in the position shown in the photo is simply impossible. In fact, some parts won't flex at all and others won't flex no matter how hard you try to tighten the screws. Terrible instructions and I'm one of those people who have assembled many things from IKEA with no problems. The screws are either too tight or two are loose. The bottom one doesn't move at all and I can't turn the top screw. Not kind to elders. So disappointed that I thought it would allow me to read in bed without straining my neck. I will return it to Revane.
