Heavy waterproof

When I opened the faucet, it dripped heavily from the hose fitting. Pulling didn't help. Teflon tape didn't help. Lubricating didn't help. Changing to a different hose didn't help. Replacing the gasket with silicone didn't help either. The other valve in the pair was just as bad. What ultimately made it waterproof was replacing the gasket with one from my own parts box, a toroidal (donut) shape instead of a flat gasket. At the moment the valve is tight and working.

Pros

Sturdy mini float valve with adjustable lever. Made of solid ABS plastic that is corrosion and rust resistant. Suitable for ponds, chickens, cattle troughs, fish tanks, aquaponics, aquaculture, hydroponic tanks.
