Works and this is how I programmed

I bought this for my 2013 F150. Ignition and buttons on the remote control to lock/unlock the doors. To program the key to start your truck/car you first need 2 working keys that both start your vehicle. My operating instructions describe this process. You need to put the first key in the ignition and turn it to the on position for 4-10 seconds. Turn to the off position and remove the key. Insert the second key and turn it to the on position for 6-10 seconds. This is where your code to unlock the doors should appear if you have a 5 digit keypad on the driver's door. Turn to the off position and remove the key. Insert a new key (it must be cut first) and turn it to the "on" position. This will program the new key to start your car. It is said to store up to 8 keys. At this point, my truck starts and drives, and the doors unlock with a key. But it doesn't open doors remotely. Second, my truck required this procedure to program the remote buttons to lock/unlock the doors. Your vehicle may vary slightly. I don't know if it's in the manual, but I found instructions online. You get in the car and close all the doors. Then open the driver's door and press the unlock button on the door. Then put the key in the ignition and turn it on 8 times fairly quickly. This position is just before "starting" the car. They stop in the "on" position. The doors will be locked and unlocked when it's done. You then have 10 seconds to press the lock or unlock button on the remote you want to program. Now I can lock and unlock and remote start my truck with the buttons on the key. Make sure you upvote this so others can now see if this key works.
