I designed and built a "resistor" to line my very long gravel driveway. After drilling a few holes in the iron frame I broke my 21/64" bit. It looks like it would be too fragile to work with thick iron. So I ordered a DEWALT DW1921 21/64" Iron Oxide Center Drill. bit to replace it. I had to drill 20 to 25 more holes in the iron. The Dewalt drill has held up well and hasn't lost its sharpness. I'm new to pilot drills. Needless to say, all my future big drills will be Dewalt pilot drills.
