Unbeatable Quality for Industrial Needs

When I tried this bit, I was amazed by the clear, precise holes it created without any difficulties. The ferrous oxide coating prevents slipping and shockwaves. The strength and durability of this bit make it UNBEATABLE and it cuts quickly with little effort. The only downside is its price, but when it comes to industrial needs, it's worth the expense. Overall, its an optimal choice for heavy-duty usage..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Not suitable for non-ferrous metal cutting

Handles heavy iron angle drilling

I designed and built a "resistor" to line my very long gravel driveway. After drilling a few holes in the iron frame I broke my 21/64" bit. It looks like it would be too fragile to work with thick iron. So I ordered a DEWALT DW1921 21/64" Iron Oxide Center Drill. bit to replace it. I had to drill 20 to 25 more holes in the iron. The Dewalt drill has held up well and hasn't lost its sharpness. I'm new to pilot drills. Needless to say, all my future big drills will be Dewalt pilot drills.

Pros
  • Tapered wall provides more strength to reduce breakage
Cons
  • Expensive
