Not perfect, not bad, worth the money.
I had the hood for 9 months and it didn't break. The hood has a bit of a problem adjusting the knobs tight to hold it up or loose to let it fall off easily. I still haven't been able to adjust it to stay open without shifting and still be able to pull it down. But for what it's worth, the rotary knobs are a minor issue that should be overlooked. Works great for Mig and Tig welding and has good vision. Has adequate ventilation to prevent fogging when the SoFlo heats up. It does fog up after a while but not as badly as any of my other Matco tool hoods.
