Review on ZUKKA Bike Bell: Vintage Brass Bicycle Ring Horn with Clear and Loud Tone - Essential Cycling Accessories by Jonathan Ulsth

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I would like it louder. Sometimes an adjustment is required to keep calling.

I keep it but was tempted to return it. At first I liked it, then I stopped shouting and went back to "Links!". I had to loosen and adjust the top screw on the torch and will probably have to do it again as the problem keeps coming back. It's not as loud as I would like. and definitely not as loud as the old fashioned ones I put on my grandkids bikes for less money. but I wanted a smaller size. It comes with 2 thick rubber pads to accommodate different handlebar sizes. I needed thicker padding on my bike, which surprised me. If you want people to hear it when you are still at a considerable distance. This may not be the call for you. It depends where you ride. This is normal for sidewalks and bike paths, but if you're on a street or sidewalk, it may not be audible due to ambient noise.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Legacy model
