Review on Unpainted Miniatures: Wave 9 - Star-Spawn Of Cthulhu | Pathfinder Deep Cuts by Jill Bennett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cthulhu fhtagn! Well, his spawn at least.

Man, I love this mini. I do wish that it were bigger and that it needed less clean-up, especially around the hands from where it was removed from the mold, but the detail on this guy is fantastic for such a low-cost miniature. I don’t know if it will remain this way once it has been painted, but if you shine a flashlight inside of the mini right out of the box the head and body has the coolest look to it - check the picture to see what I mean. That’s with my Streamlight flashlight blasting inside of him, but man it looks pretty sweet. If it remains visible after painting I’m going to try to put a very small light inside of it; however, if it doesn’t stay that way after painting then I’m going to buy a second one and keep that one un-painted.Don’t hesitate to click the ‘Add to Cart’ button; this Star-Spawn is worth every red cent.

Pros
  • This is an amazing figure! I cannot wait to unveil it for my players in our campaign.
Cons
  • The miniatures are unpainted, which may be disappointing for collectors who prefer the convenience of pre-painted figures.
