I used to have a SanDisk SSD and have been using it on my laptop for a long time. I have a 2013 laptop that I use for daily activities but not for gaming. It ran sluggishly and took over 10 minutes to load/reload, then logging in and opening Firefox/Chrome took another 2-3 minutes. I wasn't sure if it was the computer itself. It wasn't infected with malware. I decided to give it a try to see how it would work. As soon as I got it I cloned the drive to this SSD, it took about 4 hours for 350GB of data plus extra partitions. Popped this baby into a laptop and the boot time was 10 seconds. It was fast and it took an extra second to login to launch Firefox/Chrome. Shutting down is also surprisingly fast. I've always been impressed with SanDisk SD cards as I also use them for my Canon cameras, but my laptop's SSD made it 100x better.
