Absorbent? yes very absorbent! Light? very very light !Multifunctional? Definitive! I use them for: cleaning (just cut in half or quarters and use for dusting, polishing, washing dishes etc), drying dishes, drying hands, drying carpet, removing stains, easy to clean and sanitize. NOT expensive like other brands so if something is very damaged or stains can't be removed I can throw it away without any guilt :-) They are made from cotton which is much more eco-friendly than microfiber towels which I don't really like. (but that's another story about a cup of coffee :-)) Note: they have a bad smell when new, but it goes away after washing (and they absorb moisture much better)
