We installed new carpet in the hallway. It sits on a non slip carpet pad and then I bought this to hold the edges. We toss the ball down the hall and our small (35lb) dog chases after it. I hope this will hold the rug in place as it slides over it. At first the adhesion of the strips seemed great, but I realized that I had laid the carpet at an angle. So I picked it up, aligned it and then taped it back to the floor, but when I pulled the rug up the strips pulled the backing off the rug (see photo). Now they claim it is a washable and reusable product. Looking at the photo, can you tell me how to wash them? They took half the carpet! S0 - If you place them in place and don't touch them they might work well, but if they're actually reusable (meaning you can customize the mat) they're not worth it. . I bought another version to use in my dining room. I'll throw them away and go through my orders to see another brand and re-order them.
