Thank you to all the previous reviewers who filled in the huge gaps in the manufacturer's documentation. In my 7.3 liter engine, when I turn the key to the glow plugs, the circuit lights up and my aftermarket stereo starts to boot up and connect to my bluetooth device. After the glow plug cycle I start the truck which turns off the radio and starts the radio process and bluetooth when the truck is running. Depending on the temperature, this can be quite impractical. My goal is that when I first turn the key and switchable power is applied to the radio, for the next 55 seconds the relay will start drawing power from the always hot circuit (there are plenty of large enough unused circuits under the Dashboard). That should give enough time for the glow plug to cycle on and off and start the truck, then the relay switched back to normal switched radio power. I did the pre-wiring on my stand as in the picture and it works as described. Now install it in the body and wire it to the truck.
