I got this because I got tired of paying over $20 for a pair of pants to have them hemmed. I'm a 5'5" small welterweight and have trouble finding pants that fit. I pay tailors several hundred dollars just to have my pants hemmed. I chose this sewing machine as it's reasonably priced yet great value in the Price has.This is a relatively light sewing machine that has everything you need to get started.It is not only light but also quite small compared to others.
