Review on DeLonghi ECAM22110SB Silver Espresso Machine, 13.8 Inches by Mitch Wright

I love starting my day with a latte

I love starting my day with a latte, so after spending $5 a day at a local coffee shop, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a super machine . After about 6 months of use here are my main pros and cons: PROS (relatively) affordable compared to other machines with similar functionality very compact - takes up less space than my filter coffee maker + hot water dispenser easy to use and maintain - you just take it easy the time to read the manual before you turn it on. heats up quickly for both coffee and steam; allows you to adjust the grind and dosage to your taste; descaling) built-in burr grinder = HeavenCONS it's noisy - it's pretty standard on these machines, but some people might be surprised that cleaning the steam nozzle is a hassle - you have to disassemble the nozzle and hand-wash the detachable parts after each use. After doing this every day for about 2 months, one of the o-rings ruptured (which causes the steam nozzle to actually create milk froth in addition to simply frothing milk), which makes me question the durability of the machine. . After 4 attempts to contact DeLonghi Customer Service to request a new o-ring as my machine is under warranty, I received no response. Again, this leaves me with some doubts as to whether I would be able to fix the car if a more serious problem arose. In general, the car is worth its price. The coffee is fantastic (if you buy good, freshly roasted beans). The device looks very sleek, although most of the outer casing is made of plastic. If I had more confidence in DeLonghi's customer service I would give this car 5 stars.

Pros
  • The guarantee does not apply to purchases from unauthorized stores.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
