Great little fridge for everyday use

Great little fridge for everyday use. Bought this for my Jeep XJ which doesn't overheat but the AW4 is known to be a cool powertrain. Mine is already over 200,000, so it should only help with weight loss in old age. In the summer I sometimes tow my 18 foot boat and in the winter I snowboard uphill 5 days a week. The 31st also works with regular 3.55 gears. I'm not having any issues currently, but I feel like it moves debris better before it's been hot for a while. The installation was pleasant, as always a practical person. I used the existing holes in my XJ and was able to line them up perfectly. The bracket kit is great - my 677 came with one but my 678 (bought 3 years ago) didn't. The arms fold slightly for a perfect fit. All I had to buy in addition to the kit were two 3/8 hose fittings to connect two lines and their 4 hose clamps. 2001XJ. I installed the radiator on the passenger side at the end of the grill, closest to the transmission lines (inlet at bottom, outlet at top). Plugged into the short piece of rubber on the transmission return line, which in my case is in an ideal spot nearby. The hoses ran between the grille and the headlight and there were even 2 perfect holes in the frame so I could route them perfectly without risking hitting the nearest mechanical fan. Before cutting, fully install the first part, leaving a little slack, and you may only need the included 3ft hose for your vehicle.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some difficulties
