Does exactly what I wanted.

Just what I needed when changing the transmission in my friend's '06 Honda Odyssey, these things get so hot I decided to take preventative measures with the new transmission. Arrived well packaged I was expecting an 'x' brand hose to be included but to my great surprise they come with Gates brand hoses. I wasn't trying to trust the plastic zip ties that came with it, so I made some clips to attach them.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

It works for my Mitsubishi Montero Sport, has the original gearbox with almost 200K, still works well but due to age overheating is normal. Downshifting was a problem due to the high heat especially in the heat so I decided to fit a transmission cooler, problem solved now I have a cooler running transmission and better shifting, this cooler is well made looks good and is its own worth money. BTW, the reason I gave four stars was the hose clamps and a missing part from the kit, the clamps were…

Good quality and lots of accessories to install

I bought this to replace my old transmission cooler in my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0. This one was larger than I expected and was larger than the current one I had. Installation was the hardest part due to the fact that it was wider. The rest is working great so far. My recommendation if you have a rubber hose that goes 90 degrees from your old radiator to the radiator lines and you want to use the hose they give you, make it a little longer than you have so it has enough spots for the liquid

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great little fridge!

My transmission runs only a few degrees cooler on average, but passive cooling without a fan works much better than using a stock cooler. I'm sure that once I install a constant fan, it will show its true merits. However, he definitely needs more hoses and an additional foot. I barely had enough and couldn't install it exactly where I wanted it, but this is a quality handset from Gates. Just make sure you tighten the clamps all the way, they might feel tight, and then a few more turns. numerous

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are nuances

HAYDEN 677 RADIATOR CHEVY & TOYOTA REVIEW

Vehicles: 01 Chevy Silverado 4.3 Vortec V6 Rated 5000# Towing 03 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 Inline 4 Rating 3500# Towing. CX-5 on vacation with a 5x10 trailer full of camping gear. 3k lesson learned. preparing to move to Appalachia won't happen again! Both trucks have coolers installed, I installed both coolers AFTER the factor. We have mild winters in the south. If you live in the north, you should connect the radiator BEFORE the factory radiator. Installation was easy. I prefer this orientation (1st…

Radiator Only

Installed on Subaru Legacy 2013 with CVT. The cooler has 3/8" connections but comes with 11/32" hose. What's the point? A narrower hose restricts fluid flow and is difficult to fit into 3/8" fittings. I ended up spending another $12 on a 4 foot hose. I wouldn't trust the included plastic mounting straps. A/C condenser and/or radiator vents? Play it safe and use separate metal mounting brackets. The kit comes with 4 clamps about 1" in diameter, but the clamps are a bit narrow. I figured they…

Great little fridge for everyday use

Great little fridge for everyday use. Bought this for my Jeep XJ which doesn't overheat but the AW4 is known to be a cool powertrain. Mine is already over 200,000, so it should only help with weight loss in old age. In the summer I sometimes tow my 18 foot boat and in the winter I snowboard uphill 5 days a week. The 31st also works with regular 3.55 gears. I'm not having any issues currently, but I feel like it moves debris better before it's been hot for a while. The installation was pleasant,

Pros
  • Great design

  • Some difficulties

Too small, only original cooler helps

Too small, too big, too cold, too warm. I've read that from buyers here and they're all wrong! How does anyone know the temperature of your hydraulic fluid? Do you have a thermometer installed? Or do you use an OBD2 scanner and your car can read it and show it to you on your smartphone or iPod touch? 107 degrees Celsius or 225 degrees Fahrenheit is the maximum temperature of hydraulic fluid before it begins to degrade. So anything shorter is BETTER to say the least lol. What about "working…
