Does exactly what it says on the tin and does it pretty quickly. And wine at the right temperature is simply delicious – "room temperature” is almost always too warm and wine from the fridge ALWAYS too cold, even chard and sauvignon blanc. And since my wife loves red and I love white, being able to make two bottles is great (and we usually add a second red after the white is gone when we have company). My only concern is that the fans are too loud to use this in open areas. We put ours in the pantry, and there the noise does not bother. Don't get me wrong, it's not a jet engine or anything, just too loud to be on public display while it's running.
