Review on 🚗 Carr 125002 Super Hoop No-Drill XM3 Polished Pair: 3-Inch Rugged Brilliance by Joe Griffin

I got the steps according to schedule with no problems. The instructions accompanying the steps were simple and reasonable. The only issue I had was with the mounting hardware. I had to go to Home Depot and buy extra "jam nuts" as the treads only come with one per tread. I installed a step with just one of these nuts as instructed, but the step moved slightly and made a thud when I put my weight on it because the step wasn't flush with the bodywork. When I removed the step, I found that the washers that came with the steps fit into the truck body mounting holes and were not as oversized as they should be. (hard to explain but you'll get what I mean once you install the steps). This caused the step to be physically set to only half the thickness of the truck body material, and the step would "soften" when stepped on. All in all, I spent nearly $20 at Home Depot installing 4-step hardware, and the improvement in step "strength" was significant. I would recommend this hardware replacement to anyone purchasing this item.
