Drive DOA Electronics
Purchased for use with Synology DS916+. The drive was recognized by the NAS but failed to initialize. I even tried formatting it on my Windows PC but the PC didn't even see the drive. I'm sending it back in hopes of a working replacement. I will update my review accordingly. Update: I returned this drive (thanks HomeStart) with no problems. Based on other reviews, I decided to order an 8TB drive from another manufacturer.
