I will never go back to a trailer without brakes. This controller will most likely also go to my next truck. Love the features of the switch and have nothing but compliments for this make/model. Since I needed to reconnect my trailer's adapter and wiring harness, I made sure to use a feature that detects short circuit or grounding issues. I am very happy with it as it helped me get the job done right the first time. The wiring harness was included. It plugged straight into my truck's outlet as advertised, perfect fit. The installation took the longest to place and attach the screws to the dashboard, so less than 10 minutes.
