Bright but motion detection only so-so

I bought this for my backyard in 2018 and was never able to make it reliably detect motion. I decided to make peace with that and change it to dawn to dusk mode, which worked great for about 3 years. After 3-3.5 years, one of the 2 LED's stopped working. Shortly after, the other LED stopped working. For ease of installation, I re-purchased the same light. It is nice and bright and clearly illuminates a 15ft by 35ft area.
