I was having trouble with my light doing what I wanted. I called Torchstar and talked to customer service representative, Ruby. She said my light needed to be reprogrammed and emailed me the instruction to do that. Worked like a charm. My thanks to Ruby and Torchstar for the great customer service. Just purchased 2 of these outdoor lights to replace 2 others where I got tired of replacing bulbs. I wanted to switch to LED to eliminate this issue. Both units arrived in a matter of a few days and were well packaged. Installation was a snap as I was replacing similar lights. They appear to be of good quality but, having only had them for a week, time will tell how well they hold up. Lighting is good but harsh. The lights are very bright white which offers a different effect than what I'm used

I purchased 2 of these lights. They are easy to install, are bright and have some nice customization features like range of motion detection. The only complaint I have is the disk till dawn mode doesn’t work. It’ll flash every 30 seconds or so, then turn off and repeat.

I installed this light on the side of my house for my driveway. I had the sensitivity on the lowest setting. It went off every 2-3 minutes the first night. Next day I adjusted it and it still kept triggering on for no reason. The instructions are a tiny folded paper and not much help in the way of instructions on how to adjust the sensitivity. I went online and printed out a large version of them and realized the issue was the range. The range to the right and left was triggering the light well

This light was installed on the patio on the back of the house. There is no light what so ever so this motion light works great for this area. It alerts us to anything or anybody in the back yard. It’s connected to a switch so I can turn it off when the patio is being used. Can be set for motion or dawn to dusk.

If you want to mount this (vertically) to a wall in place of an existing light I give it 4 stars. If you want to mount it horizontally, under an overhang or a soffit, I give it 2 stars. The range of motion is so limited for the sensor head that I cannot point it at the driveway, I can only point it almost straight down. After doing my research for motion detection lights I bought these. The ratings do say a lot for this product. Although made in China, they do seem to be made well and have all the attributes of a high end product. The motion range is great, along with brightness and the ability to set all the features with a restate instead of the normal, 2 or 3 positions. Came complete with all the extras to install. Good product. I would recommend.

I bought this for my backyard in 2018 and was never able to make it reliably detect motion. I decided to make peace with that and change it to dawn to dusk mode, which worked great for about 3 years. After 3-3.5 years, one of the 2 LED's stopped working. Shortly after, the other LED stopped working. For ease of installation, I re-purchased the same light. It is nice and bright and clearly illuminates a 15ft by 35ft area.

I've installed several of these lights on my shop. They are not harder than any other motion light to install it's just being up on the ladder juggling light and tools to get the job done. These lights are BRIGHT. be careful where they are aimed. Your neighbors might be annoyed when they light up in the middle of the night when triggered by a bunny. I aim them closer than I did with Halogen lights. Then check at night to see if you have the coverage you want. Make adjustment as necessary. So…

This was a great solution for our back patio. I ordered three 2-light sets and it provides ample lighting for the space. I was worried that the wattage would be too low at 20 watts LED, but that’s not the same as the typical non LED bulbs in your house. Really happy with them!

It was very easy to install. Well worth the money. Took me a couple of days to find a setting that worked but after that it seems to work fine.
