I have tried a total of 4 of these active HDMI-->DP adapters including Cable Matters, SIIG and Ancable Electronics. It's the only one that has worked flawlessly with every combination I've tried. The video source devices I used were Pixelbook and Nintendo Switch. Other adapters worked well when connected directly to a monitor, but had various problems when a video source was connected to a KVM that was in turn connected to a monitor. With the Switch they showed flickering, intermittent dimming etc and with the Pixelbook they all showed a black screen. However, this adapter worked perfectly with both video sources, with and without KVM. I also tested it with 2 different KVMs with the same results.
