I bought this disc for my daughter in college. She has a Microsoft Surface Pro. To get around the low-power issues of Surface tablets, I also bought a powered USB 3.0 hub. I connected the drive to the hub and the hub to the tablet, downloaded the software from the Microsoft Store and the drive worked fine.
