This Stainless Steel 1/16" Wire Rope is ideal. The fact that it is marine grade gives me confidence that it will withstand the weather it will encounter while strung outside to carry our lights over the patio. Since it is marine grade, it shouldn't rust from the rain or other moisture.It arrived on a nice plastic spool and was quite heavy, heavier than I really anticipated. The weight is a good indication of its strength. Also included are 100 crimping connectors. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.
