The spring clips fell off on first use.
Sorry I sent the stretcher back. I was using it on a job and the spring washers holding the pins together fell off. If you were inclined to remake it on the side, it works great, but since I already have a Roberts electric stapler whose screws are falling out, I didn't want to do it again.
