If you install the handles it will then be 6 1/2” overall height.I left the handles off so I get more clearance when putting under lower cars. It is heavy but easy enough to slide under car into position without the handles.Lifts car without any hesitation. You can regulate how fast it goes up and how far by slowly opening air valve and then shutting off. When lowering it has an exhaust restriction so it goes down slow. Plus you can just partly open exhaust if you want to go down slower and close it again if only wanting to lower part of the way.It also has a over pressure safety valve.You will probably need to trim 1/4-3/8” off the plastic hose when putting it together. That way it isn’t kinked and restricting airflow.Airbag feels heavy duty and should last a long time. But always use jack stands incase the bag did pop.Much nicer to use in tight garage then floor jack with long handle sticking out in the way.
