Review on 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, Mining Rig, CPU Coolers | Long Life Bearing | Excellent Ventilation | Kingwin Black CF-012LB by Tom Duncan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's a 5 for the money

If it were more expensive it would be a 4 or 3. But for the price it's a 5. That's really all there is to say about it. It's not quiet, but it's not loud either (unless your fans are on progressive ramps and sitting next to it). Personally, I wouldn't use this for anything that I know is running at high RPMs around me. . If you need something for that, spend your money and buy a Noctura or something equipped with what I think. I'm using this fan on a Frankenstein assembly made from old parts put together to run as a media server in the bedroom. Fans never exceed 30% of their maximum speed. I just needed a pair of 140s to replace the missing bottom and side fans. This is an old FX 8350 with an AMD Wraith CPU fan (which came with one of my 2700Xs). This processor generates a lot of heat, otherwise I wouldn't even bother. By all means, get them, but understand that they cost around $7.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Long wait
