Review on πŸ”ͺ Shinwa 62596 Japanese Stainless Sliding: Precision and Durability in Motion by Joel Young

Poor finish on the pinned end

The first one I got was poorly hand finished on the pinned end. The unit has not been sanded smooth from edge to edge as shown in the item listing. The end appears to have been hand finished with a belt sander, with a coarser finish than the rest of the body. It doesn't interfere with work, but they cut corners on the trim. I sent the first one back thinking I got a bad one. The second was a little better, so I decided to keep it, although as another person pointed out, it's difficult to pull tight enough.
