Review on Moen 116653 Posi Temp Replacement Adapter by David Robinson

The cartridge in my shower valve lasted 14 years. Unfortunately after such a long time it was almost impossible to remove the grip as the set screw was rusted and wouldn't budge. I had to dig up. The new cartridge and handle are already in place and ready to use for the next 14 years. This kit is used for preventative maintenance. This time I plan to replace the adapter and screws before they rust. When you start to feel play in your grip, you know it's time for a new adapter. Spending $5 and 5 minutes every few years is better than doing a big 5 hour job in the future.
