Review on 🔄 Efficient Fluid Transfer with ATD Tools 5019 Plastic Rotary Pump by Robert Smith

I've looked everywhere for a good drinking water pump to take with me with water barrels and decided to try this one. This turned out to be a really good idea. This pump is fantastic. First, it's not plastic. It is glass filled propylene. Glass beads and glass powder are mixed with a plastic part, forming a new material with new properties. This material is as strong as aluminum but will not corrode or rust like metal. In fact, this pump is designed for both water and oil based fluids. Second, you can actually flip this pump and get a lot of flow out of it. I can empty a 30 gallon keg in 5 minutes. It's very fast. Third, you only see a 1 foot suction extension in the picture, but the pump actually comes with 3 extensions and also a restrictor that fits on the bottom of the extension and filters the incoming water. So this pump is really easy to adapt to most kegs and most applications. Finally, the pump weighs 7 pounds and is solid and very well built and finished. It's hard to think of a better hand pump than this one.
