Review on πŸ—„οΈ Innovative Liberty D80622C 22 Inch Bearing Drawer for Organized Storage by Lance Levatte

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality for the price; Easy Install

The race in the old slides in the center drawer of my office desk broke after thirty years. I didn't get too upset because the old ones weren't fully stripped and it was very difficult to get to things at the very back of my drawer. I really like her. They have a tight seal so the box does not crack, it opens easily. They are smooth enough and just as smooth as the ones I replaced. However, I have used drawer slides which were a bit slimmer but cost 5 times as much so I won't turn them down because of that. For the price they are amazing. The build quality looks pretty good. My old sleeve bearings used a piece of plastic for the race, which eventually wore out and broke. They have a proper metal cage to hold the bearings. In the instructions, the installation seemed a bit more complicated than it should have been. Basically all you have to do is attach a piece of track to the drawer and make sure it is flush with the bottom edges of the drawer and the front is flush with the back of the front of the door. Then add the outer rails, slide the drawer into the cabinet or table, and then check that the rails are even and spaced correctly from the back. Speaking of flat, I've set it up in my desk and on the floor where it's not quite level. Therefore, I had to install the thrust bearings with the same "roughness" as the table so the thrust bearings were parallel to different parts of the table. It's okay, but it's something you might not think about.
