TLDR Buy this kettle. Can't beat the price and does everything I need. Long version: I really liked this gooseneck teapot! Seriously guys, I can't tell you how much I love this thing. I've recently started making coffee at home and ordered this along with a manual coffee grinder (as per Reddit recommendations). It was a big step from drinking instant coffee with an old kettle with a crust and hard water inside (fu). At first I was afraid to buy everything I needed to make coffee at home. Other recommended kettles are AT LEAST $80, and I'm a broke college student on a budget. So it goes without saying that this kettle was REAL because you get so much value for the price! Let's face it folks, there's no need to buy something close to $100 when all it does is heat water. The gooseneck function gives you the control you need to accurately measure the amount of water for tea and coffee. I like to use it to make a french press and brew coffee - you need to know exactly how much water you're using/how you're pouring the water, and Gooseneck is great for that. This kettle is especially good because of the BUILT-IN thermometer. I'm a bit of an anal and I love checking the temp and making sure it's right where I need it so it's nice to have it at a glance. I love the simple color and the design. It looks so chic and identical to the more expensive models. Verdict: Buy it because it's such a great deal and it will definitely do everything you need and more!
