Of the pluses, the cutout in the middle of the seat continues to the "nose" of the seat. The photo is not very clear. It is not completely cut through as in the middle of the seat. But it goes on like a good groove. I couldn't make the seat comfortable for me. I've tried adjusting it fore/aft on the bike, adjusting its tilt, adjusting its height. Even when I put it in a better place, it still wasn't comfortable enough. The problem appears to be in the design of the seat itself. First, the backrest of the seat rises. (In other words, the seat is curved, not flat.) So I couldn't stay in a good position in the seat. Second, the padding is too soft. I fell straight through onto the solid foundation beneath. (And I'm not overweight. I'm 5'10, 175 pounds.) I returned the seat.
