My porter cable compressor faucet broke without much use. It was a thumbscrew that required a lot of torque to turn. A direct replacement was available at the same price as this kit. This one is much easier to rotate, but easier to "catch" the line. Put other parts in my random box of 1/4 NPT fittings where they will probably live forever. Edit, after using the compressor I found that this faucet was acting weird. After completing the day and depressurizing the tank, it appears to function normally, and then when it appears to be nearly depleted, it bursts and bleeds much more quickly, sometimes more than once. I heard him decide to ease the pressure when I thought it was already done.
