Took me about 5 minutes to assemble the sofa on both sides. It didn't lay entirely flat initially, but we carried some vintage suitcases on it for a few days and it flattened out. Both corners of our tweed sofa were scratched beyond repair and we really didn't want to buy a new sofa. They will cover all the damage and allow us to put off this big purchase for a while! Doesn't fit exactly, but very close. The cats don't seem interested in scratching him, but if anything changes I'll update.
