I bought a Kensington ComboSaver to protect my laptop at work. The product was easy to use and easy to change the combination. I used it for about a week and then I had to change the combination. I set the correct combination, flipped the lever, set the new combination, and flipped the lever again. Then, as usual, I locked the notepad. At the end of the day I set a new combination and the lock would not open. I entered the old combination and that didn't work either. Maybe I did something wrong? The most interesting thing is that I took an ordinary wire cutter and was able to easily cut the security cable, biting it piece by piece for several minutes. I was shocked that it was so easy. Then, to pry the lock off my laptop, I used a regular cordless drill with a regular drill bit and drilled through the end of the lock. Literally after 5 minutes the end of the lock came loose and with the help of needle nose pliers I pulled out each of the rings. Voila!
