These use a 17mm hex head instead of the 19 or 21mm you typically find in most aftermarkets. wheel stud housing; The 3/8 drive impact socket does not stick and tends to stick so you have to twist it in the opposite/loosen direction to pull it off. This caused me to scratch the wheels. I want the hex portion of the socket to be brought all the way to the top and not the circle in place, which would make them a lot easier to work with. I'd say there's at least 6mm on the hex for a 1/2" drive hit to hold on to, if not more. My 3/8 shock is rated for up to 130lb/ft, with 80lb/ft being the jam nut tightening spec. for my car as far as I can remember. Special thanks to Revain for the delivery on the promised time. Update: Be sure to use the included 17mm socket and tighten the nuts with a 2 foot breaker. A 130 lb/ft impact wrench could not fully tighten the nuts. Also consider installing a plastic/hub bearing on the wheel arch or outside of the impact bushing to reduce the chance of the bushing seizing the first time the nuts are tightened.
