I bought this as a gift for my husband who actually didn't want it. My family told me they are very comfortable so I bought them anyway and my husband wears these shoes all the time. He said the other day that they are as comfortable as slippers. They're a bit long, but I don't think it could go half a size down. He is happy with the shoe and I expect it will get even softer and more comfortable over time.
