Review on WTB Nano Light Fast Sidewall by Darrin Lucas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall a good tire

Installation: I installed these on pre-made DT Swiss E1800 tubeless rims with Stan's Sealant. Mounted a tire the first time with no problems. On the other hand, the second tire was much tighter on the rim and it was much more difficult to mount the bead. After some vigorous pumping, I got the bead to settle and pumped it up to 55psi. That's when the sealant started spurting out of the side panel. I inflated them to maximum pressure and let them sit overnight. The next day - completely flat. I pumped them up to 50psi and drove them 20 miles and they dropped to 35-40psi. The tire I was having the most trouble with still had some bleeding issues so I added a little more sealant and it was a lot better. First driving impression: They obviously don't roll as well as slicks, but they feel light and very smooth. on the bike path / limestone gravel / light gravel. They are also surprisingly good on singletrack. They also ride cyclocross races in the dry mostly without complaint.
