Very light, fresh, slightly herbal scent. It's not surprising to my nose, but it's simple, harmless, and very light. I haven't had good experiences with the set. It got my hair clean but it seemed to make it very frizzy which is contrary to what it's supposed to do. I've been dating a curly-haired girl for a few years. No silicones, phthalates, SLS, etc. It doesn't appear to have any added coloring, which I appreciate. The size fits well but I took it with me on a trip and the shampoo came out pretty bad. Luckily I had them in my toiletry bag so they were easy to clean. I personally wouldn't get them again, but a different person may have different results. For the record, I have black hair, thick but not coarse (medium thickness but high density, lol "a lot"), my hair is a few inches below my shoulders, and I have a more or less A3-shaped curl pattern. Depending on the day and mood of my hair.
