Slicing cheese has generally been a runaway experience for me as different cheese slicers offered more or less control depending on their design and build quality. (Then of course there are some that break on first use, like the last one I tried.) I have to say that this piece of heavy metal is by far the best cheese cutter I've ever used. I just pulled a large block of cheddar out of the fridge and used this amazing slicer to cut three perfect sandwich-thick slices with almost complete control. The funny thing is that it really doesn't cost that much compared to inferior products. I don't know how they can be made and sold at such a price and even an extra wire! What offer!
