Installed on a Yamaha Kodiak 400 quad. Unscrew the bottom tab as far as I could comfortably thread enough and it was still slightly shorter than my factory shocks. But don't worry, I only cranked the preload ring about 5/8" (after taking the picture) and that pretty much got me back to the factory ride height. I carefully peeled off the factory decal and ordered Fox decals instead and glued on. Nobody knows the difference and I get compliments everywhere! It should be noted that this is a 'universal' product, so don't be surprised if you need to make some adjustments to make it fit. In my case the eyes were a little thinner than my stocks.then there was too much play and i was afraid it would eat up the bushings very quickly.(rubber) i installed a small 1/4" class 8 washer and washer to keep the bushing from slipping and taking up extra space They ride well but time will tell if they hold up To be honest at this price just buy another set, if they make it.
