Great product. All I had to do was remove the metal shell, remove the spigot from the sphere, and unscrew the sphere from the metal with a set of sockets. I then did the same to the bottom one and then put in the new ones (I recommend doing the bottom one first). Next, using the Allen screwdriver from my mechanic's kit, I screwed the screw on the new post into the hole. I did the same on the top and the other side. The barrel stalled after one replacement, but I RECOMMEND replacing both because once a new one is put in, the other old one will fail very soon and hit you in the head. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE STANDS!
