Our Maine Coon sweater; He will attempt to climb onto any table, counter, or surface he thinks he can reach. We don't like him standing on kitchen tables, so we attached this tape to the edges of the table where we knew he'd pop up. Using two rows of this tape on the 'accessible' areas of the counter has successfully prevented it from bouncing! The first night we applied this to the counters we noticed his furry paw prints on the tape and we haven't seen his prints on the tape since. I confirmed he stopped jumping while reviewing footage from our network security camera in the area. After about 3-5 months, the tape will finally lose its stickiness due to dust, human contact and other environmental factors. We just peel off the old tape and stick it back on. Tip for those who want to try this method: without removing the blue backing, lay the tape on, cut it to the desired length, and then peel off the blue backing to reveal the sticky side of the tape. I also recommend buying more than 2 rolls of this tape as the thickness of the tape reduces the total length of the roll compared to regular single sided tape or standard tape. You should especially order more if you want your tape to be fresh and beautiful (in the kitchen, food and stains get on the tape and it looks ugly). Good product!
