Pay attention to pollution
The block is installed correctly. I would go forward but not back. After extensive troubleshooting, including ordering unnecessary parts, I disassembled the unit and found contamination at the connectors. I cleaned the terminals with sandpaper and the carriage works now. Never assume new parts made in China are good.
