Did the trick! good for internal components
Friends Wii console no longer recognizes DVDs. Tried blowing air out of DVD drive to remove dust, didn't help. I ordered this disc as a replacement. I put the chances of it working at 50/50 - the problem could be with the Wii itself, right? Well it worked like a charm. A fully functional Wii costs $20 again. Hooray. Tip: Don't forget to press the eject button to remove the drive from the old drive before disassembling it.
